Frequently Asked Questions:
Will the workshop teach me how to take better photos of my children?
While we will not specifically be covering taking photos of children, the skills you learn on the course will help you take more control over your photographs in all areas of your life. The Manual Overdrive Workshop will cover the basics of manual photography, portraits and styling photos. If you are specifically interested in photographing children, why not take our Collect the Moments eCourse?
Do I need to have children to attend?
No. Anyone is welcome.
Can I come if I shoot with a bridge/mirrorless DSLR?
Absolutely. As long as you have full manual control over your ISO, shutter speed and aperture, you will get a lot out of the course. However, certain aspects of the teaching may not apply to your kind of camera and our knowledge of these cameras is limited as they vary wildly. Please get in touch to find out if you are not sure if your camera is suitable.
Will we cover editing?
Unfortunately, 1 day isn’t enough to get through editing as well as the basics of manual photography, but hey – we have an eCourse that means you can learn the basics at your own pace!
I want to buy a place for someone else, do you do gift certificates?
Feel free to purchase a place for someone else and just let us know who the course is for when you check out. Unfortunatley, our gift certificates are not valid for our in-person workshops.
